     Pediatric Radiology CasesRadiological findings:

    Ultrasound 1 <- view Ultrasound 1

Ultrasound 1: Stomach is filled with fluid. Distally, though, an obvious thickened and distended Canalis pyloricus with hypertrophy of the muscularis is seen.

    Ultrasound 2 <- view Ultrasound 2

Ultrasound 2: Pyloric region in 2 views: Pyloric canal 17 mm long, musculature thickness 4.9 mm. Through observance of the stomach's outlet, an increased peristalsis and an absence of (or rather difficult) passage of fluid through the pyloric muscle.

Pediatric Radiology CasesCourse / Prognosis / Frequency / Other :

In the laparotomy, the diagnosis of hypertropy of the pylorus musculature was confirmed. Pylorotomy.

After the pylorotomy was done, an uncomplicated course was observed.
