    14 year-old boy with acute right-sided stomach ache, beginning about 2 hours before admission, initally acute vomiting, careful gait.
    Right testicular elevation, great pain on pressure of the right testicle and spermatic cord.

    Ultrasound 1 <- view Ultrasound 1

    Ultrasound 1: Knotty, echogenic, partly decreased echogenic structure above the testicles (twisting-sign), Representation of the upper pole of the testicles with concurrent hydrocele.




    Ultrasound 2 <- view Ultrasound 2

    Ultrasound 2: Color doppler sonography of the twisted spermatic cord, abrupt halt of vascularisation shown.




    Ultrasound 3 <- view Ultrasound 3

    Ultrasound 3: Postoperative hyperperfusion of the spermatic cord and testicles.




    OP-Situs 1 <- view OP-Situs 1

    OP-Situs 1: Intraoperatives picture of a intravaginal testicular torsion without infarction.

    Emergency surgery, presumptive diagnosis of testicular torsion was confirmed, re-torsion, no infarction. Reperfusion -> testicular preservation, orchiopexy.
