 | Course / Prognosis / Frequency / Other : | Since the mass was large and regression was absent, the indication for laparotomy was present. Intra-operatively, a filled, elastic mass (about 5x7 cm) which had the color of creamed coffee, was found. This mass was filled with coffee-grounds-like content. The vessel stem, which was supplying nutrients to the mass, was torqued. The surrounding adnexes were also infarcted. | |
