     Pediatric Radiology CasesHistory:

A 2 year-old boy was presented to us with: paleness, stomach aches, obstipation, urination difficulties and a poor general condition. In the lower abdomen, a large mass could be palpated. The child was transferred by his pediatrician to pediatric surgery with the suspicion of obstipation.

Pediatric Radiology CasesPathomorphology or Pathophysiology of this disease :

ALL with blasts in the peripheral blood and bone marrow. In the ultrasound, a large space-occupying lesion in the pelvis with blockage of the kidneys and surrounding of the rectum was noticed. A rare manifestation of a large lymphoma in the pelvis.

     Pediatric Radiology CasesRadiological findings:

    MRI 1 <- view MRI 1

MRI 1: (T2 coronal): Shown here is a mass that is enclosing the pelvis infravesically with intermediate signal in the T2-weighted image. The rectum, sigmoid and ureters are enclosed.

    MRI 2 <- view MRI 2

MRI 2: (T2 sagittal): Shown here is a mass that is enclosing the pelvis infravesically with intermediate signal.

    MRI 3 <- view MRI 3

MRI 3: (T2 transversal): Shown here is a mass that is enclosing the pelvis infravesically with intermediate signal.

    MRI 4 <- view MRI 4

MRI 4: (T1 coronal): Muscle-isointensity of the lymphoma in the T1-weighted image.

    MRI 5 <- view MRI 5

MRI 5: (T1 transversal): Muscle-isointensity of the lymphoma in the T1-weighted image.

    MRI 6 <- view MRI 6

MRI 6: (T1 sagittal): Muscle-isointensity of the lymphoma in. The ureter is blocked.

Pediatric Radiology CasesCourse / Prognosis / Frequency / Other :

Initially, the child was given an artificial anus, both kidneys were drained to the outside and a suprapubic bladder catheter was placed because of increasing retention of uric substances.
