 | Most likely etiology: | physical | |
 | History: | 2.5 year-old boy. Unnoticed fall. Pain and careful movement in the elbow-region. Movement of the joint cannot be adequately assessed, as the patient resists vehemently. In the a.p. x-ray, the centralization of the radius on the core of the radial head was unclear, so that a dislocation was discussed. | |

 | Radiological findings: |
<- view MRI 1
MRT 1: Slight change of the radial axis, which does not meet in the center. MRI images (DESS-Sequence bright: cartilage; white: synovial fluid; grey: musculature, no signal: bone). Regular centralization of the radius on the bony structures of the later capitulum radius humeri. Possibly the earlier bone-nucleus within the cartilaginous bud is not centrally localized, but which also not pathologic. (x-ray for comparison as well)
<- view MRI 2
MRI 2: In the coronal view, one sees the correct location of the cartilaginous trochlea and the olecranon (middle image) as well as the completely normal centralization of the radial axis. Therefore, there is no luxation or subluxation (x-ray for comparison as well).
