<- view Ultrasound 1
Ultrasound 1: Left hip: the femoral head is dislocated craniolaterally out of the acetabulum. The glenoid lip is comprimised cranially. The left hip is therefore categorized as a luxation (hip type IV according to Graf), since it is completely outside of the acetabulum (despite the alpha-angle of 43 ° in the empty acetabulum. Beta is 95°).

Ultrasound 2: Labeling of the relevant structures in a luxation of hip type IV.

Ultrasound 3: right hip: Normal, "physiological" maturation retardation(Hip type IIa).
