In infancy there is only rarely clincal symptoms. Often the diagnosis is based on chance findings, although the tumorous nature could possibly cause symptoms.  

Adenomatotic proliferation of the brochioles. Depending on amount of air within, there is a difference to be made in the types I-III. Bullae, cystic degeneration of the lung tissue or small cystic (solid impressionable) lesions.

Solid or cystic pulmonary changes (Type I-III). The spectrum reaches from a solitary cyst to multicystic confluent lesions to solid chadnges. Often multifocal.
